We would like to provide you with an update on our management plan for Barossa Park Lodge which was placed into lockdown earlier this week, after receiving confirmation that an employee had tested positive for COVID-19 via a Rapid Antigen Test.
As an additional precaution, we have arranged for all residents and staff at Barossa Park Lodge to be tested for COVID-19 today (Thursday 6 January 2022).
This includes a drive-through testing clinic for staff between 6pm and 8pm, which will be set up outside the Lodge entrance around 5pm tonight. Please note, this testing clinic is for staff members of Barossa Park Lodge only.
We ask members of the public to please avoid the area, and those visiting residents in Independent Living Units to please be mindful and plan their visit accordingly. Additional staff will be onsite to support this clinic and manage any traffic as required.
We do apologise for any inconvenience this short clinic may cause tonight. However, it’s important that we continue to aggressively implement any necessary measures to limit our residents’ exposure to COVID-19, as we understand containment and quarantine are among the most effective means of protection.
We will continue to provide you with updates as more information is available, especially as we receive the results from testing.
