OneCare understands that as COVID-19 infections continue to rise in Tasmania and we edge closer to the winter months; you may have questions or concerns about your loved ones’ care.
We want to assure you that we are well-equipped and prepared to support our residents, their families and the wider OneCare community in any way we can. Each of our facilities has an
abundant stock of PPE materials as well as the systems and policies to minimise any exposure to risk.
Throughout the coming months, OneCare will be providing the opportunity for residents to receive their fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccination as well as the flu vaccination. Attached is a letter from Professor Paul Kelly, Chief Medical Officer for the Australian Government, which has more information about this program.
Our primary goal is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone who uses our services or works at, resides in, or visits our facilities.
As we navigate the next few months ahead, we want to remind you about the COVID-19 News and Updates section of our website (https://onecare.org.au/covid-19-updates/) which provides
up-to-date information about what is happening in our facilities, including any new restrictions, safety measures or Public Health directives. We will also continue to provide updates directly to
you via email and SMS.
With Easter just around the corner, I hope you can find some quiet time to reflect on what Easter means to you and how far we have come since the Pandemic started. Enjoy celebrating this
special time with your family, friends and all those you support. Happy Easter, stay safe and well.
Your support and trust is greatly appreciated.
