Mr Daniel Richards
Chairman
Daniel has worked at Accru Hobart for over 27 years. He has extensive experience across a broad range of industries and provides advice on tax planning, business structures and financial management.
As well as being a Chartered Accountant, Daniel is also a qualified Financial Planner.
Ms Karen Linegar
Deputy Chair
Karen joined OneCare in 2021 as an Individual member of Clinical Governance Committee and then joined the Board in 2022. Karen holds an appointment as an Adjunct Associate Professor with the University of Tasmania.
Karen has led the development of various nursing programs, implemented an interdisciplinary teaching program and has a strong clinical background in both the private and public healthcare systems. She provides leadership in clinical governance and risk in the workplace with a strong focus on education to support competency.
Ms Sue Hickey
Sue joined OneCare’s Board in 2016. Sue is currently Mayor of the Glenorchy City Council and recently held the position of Speaker of the Tasmanian House of Assembly.
Sue was elected as Lord Mayor of Hobart in 2014 and is a former Telstra Tasmanian Business Woman of the Year.
Mr Geoff Squibb
Geoff has an extensive parliamentary history, serving the Devonport City Council for 22 years, with 14 of those as Mayor. He has been a Justice of the Peace since 1985 and is currently Vice President of the Tasmanian Society of Justices of the Peace.
Geoff is currently Chair of the Clinical Governance Committee. Geoff’s exemplary knowledge and skill contributes to OneCare’s growth and sustainability.
Ms Jenny Richardson
Jenny was elected to the OneCare board in November 2024. With a senior executive background, Jenny holds an MBA, is a Fellow of the AICD, Chartered Manager and Fellow of the Institute of Management, Fellow of Governance Institute, AHRI member and a Justice of the Peace.
Jenny has held executive roles, including Chief Operating Officer, within education, ship building, aged care and local government. A professional board member, she also sits on the board of the RACT.
Jenny brings a very broad and sound background to OneCare including governance, risk, strategy, human resources, IT, finance and customer service.
Mr Ben Wilson
Ben was elected to the OneCare Board in October 2025. He has had an extensive carer in the building, construction and community services sector, with previous roles as CEO of a residential building company, community housing provider, and Tasmanian’s first social enterprise building and construction business.
Ben currently holds the position of Chair of Homes Tasmania and brings to OneCare experience in capital works programs, asset management and Governance oversite. He is a past state president of the Housing Industry Association (HIA) and a previous Board member of Keystone Tasmania.
