We would like to provide an update on the current COVID-19 situation at The Manor Complex.
There are currently eight (8) positive cases onsite. Therefore, we have enacted our COVID-19 Outbreak Management Plan.
Visitors are permitted and visiting hours remain unchanged. We ask that this is limited to one person at a time so that social distancing can be maintained. There will also be a requirement for visitor check in and wearing of PPE as directed by staff.
Of course, visitors who are either:
- Providing end of life support for a resident at the facility; or
- Providing support to a resident who is suffering from dementia or similar condition and the person is required by the operator of the facility to assist in reducing distress or confusion in the resident; are permitted to visit at any time with the approval of the Facility Manager.
Residents are permitted to leave the facility however we recommend limiting outings for essential medical or dental appointments only.
Residents who do leave the facility must abide by the close contact rules which include returning a negative RAT and wearing a mask if they have no existing conditions that exclude them from wearing a mask.
As always, we will keep reviewing the current situation and will provide another update regularly.
