We would like to provide the following update regarding COVID-19 at Barossa Park Lodge.

Unfortunately, there have been two (2) positive cases of COVID-19 in Houghton House and this will mean that Houghton House will now be in a lockdown situation.

Effective immediately, there will be no visitors to Houghton House, noting that visitors:

  • Providing end of life support for a resident at the facility; or
  • Providing support to a resident who is suffering from dementia or similar condition and the person is required by the operator of the facility to assist in reducing distress or confusion in the resident, may continue to visit at any time with approval of the Facility Manager.

There will be a full PCR sweep conducted at the Facility tomorrow (Friday 24 June).

We understand this can be distressing for both residents and families and we are doing everything in our power to make this as temporary as possible.

We will maintain regular contact with our residents’ families to update them about their loved one’s health as normal.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the team on 6208-0800.
